Volunteers at the wildlife project will still stay in these lodges. The park still offers backpackers accommodation in these lodges that can be booked via the contact page.

The lodges are located in the middle of the game area, surrounded by a variety of animals. When you wake in the morning you are able to see giraffe, antelope, wildebees, zebra, aardvark, springbok, birds and of course a beautiful sunrise over the reserve. Could you morning start any better? Wait till you have breakfast in the fresh clear morning air.

The Wildlife Lodge is located between the hills of Thornhill in the Malaria free Eastern Cape, situated 25 min from Jeffreys Bay and 35 min from Port Elizabeth.

At the sanctuary you can see a variety of endangered birds and animals or experience the larger animals like Giraffe in the 1000 hectare Game Reserve.

At the bar we serve a variety of drinks and meals. Inside the bar is a (BBQ) area where we make traditional Braais and Potjiekos, a typical South African dish made with many different ingredients in cast iron pots on the fire.

The lodge is completely made out of wood, which gives you the ‘back to nature’ feeling.
